I have found 8 of them myself, '94, '95, '99, 2000, '06 & '07. Those are in my Dansco, 2 others were duplicates and I traded them off to a friend. HH Mark

The home shopping network is not exactly the best place to buy coins or get a good deal on PMs.

With VERY few exceptions, anything they sell on these shows, you can find for 30-40% less elsewhere...........example, 10 oz silver bar for $500......

They have to jack prices up to include the expense of TV time, ad time, paying the host and staff, the electricity to run the cameras and on and on..........

AND WHILE WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT.........

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION (so I can not be sued)......

HSN is the LAST place in the f-ing SOLAR SYSTEM I would buy coins from. Those two jokers can not even look each other in the eye when they do the show! They exaggerate beyond belief - "these coins are in such demand you can't even find them!" (while the US Mint is still selling them) �and the prices they charge for CLAD coins!! Twice I have wanted to call someone to complain about them lying! I do not begrudge them making a living, I've worked in TV, I am realistic......but these two give slime and grease bad names!!! I have to record the shows and play them back, quickly looking at what coins are new....cause 10 mins of them talking and I want to throw up!

If you HAVE to buy coins on TV - might I suggest the better option (tho still highly over-priced for all the same reasons) is ShopNBC's coin folks, who I have watched (for information, I do not buy) for years on another network. ((And they were trained by Robert Chambers who, one can say what they want, but I never saw him lie in the 20 some-odd years I watched him. He tried to display some class and knowledge.))

I've found a couple of Proof Statehood Silver Quarters. The last one was a Colorado quarter that I got in change at the grocery store. Probably was rejected by the CoinStar machine and they spent it at the checkout.

I also got into an argument with a cashier about a $2 bill. She owed me $3.74 in change and gave me 2 $1 bills a $2 bill and the coins. I tried to get her to take the $2 bill back and she said she just wanted to get rid of it.

Karma was balanced later that day when I gave the extra dollar to a homeless vet.

ive got a half dozen or so proofs from CRH. little beat up but i saved them nonetheless....probably only worth.50 after they get scratched up

2, a 2007 Kennedy clad, and a 1971 40% Ike.

a couple of weeks ago I found 8 clad proofs as well as 35 90%ers and 81 40%ers in one box.
I have found a double handful of proofs over the years and usually sell them for a couple of bucks each to help pay CRH expenses. CR

I always buy all the 2 dollar bills in the bank. I use them for tips.

I dumped 150 proofs a couple weeks ago, now one of the 8 boxes I got today has two on the end- this does not bode well unless some of my competition did the same thing. We shall see if there is also a large percentage of '87 p&d's in the mix as I dumped almost 100 of them at the same time. Hunting money was turning to silver faster than I could replace it so I had to dump my pretties. Next time will be the almost $100fv brand new cents. HH Mark

i just found a 1991-s mount rushmore golden anniversary half dollar in my monthly prospecting. this thing didn't see much circulation at all, it's in really nice shape. it does have some strange toning on it, almost like an ink picture transfer in spots.
i can't seem to find the composition of this coin anywhere. it's clearly a clad coin so i'm assuming it's 40%. i'm unable to post pix of the one i found, but you can get the idea below.
